Dalbey Education Hosts 6th Computer Recycling Event
On Saturday, September 20th, Dalbey Education hosted its sixth free community-wide computer recycling event in Westminster. In total, residents and neighbors numbering over 300 dropped off more than 49,000 lbs. of computer equipment at this event. And since beginning the recycling program in 2007, Dalbey Education has collected approximately 190,000 lbs. of electronic and computer waste from area residents and businesses for proper disposal.
Recycling electronics can be difficult and costly, which is why Dalbey Education provides this service free of charge to the community. Additionally, by working with experts in the recycling community the company is assured that materials that can be harmful to people, wildlife and the environment will be disposed of properly.
