Dalbey Education Names Former Webroot Exec Tim McAndrew as Vice President of Marketing and Media
Seasoned professional brings more than 20 years of marketing and operations experience from Webroot, Time Life and MatchLogic to business education leader Dalbey Education.
Dalbey Education, the largest provider of Cash Flow note educational courses, mentoring, online resources and access to capital for home-based entrepreneurs, has appointed Tim McAndrew to the newly created position of Vice President of Marketing and Media.
McAndrew comes to Dalbey Education from Webroot Software, Inc., the Boulder, Colo.-based creator of security software products, where he served as director of consumer marketing. While there, he developed and led the company’s consumer division into the world’s leader in anti-spyware protection.
In his new position, McAndrew will lead all marketing and sales efforts for Dalbey Education’s popular line of wealth education products, which provide entrepreneurs with the knowledge, training, connections and support required to successfully build a profitable home-based business.
“Tim’s appointment demonstrates Dalbey Education’s commitment to strengthening its leadership position in the business education industry,” said Russ Dalbey, founder and CEO of Dalbey Education. “Clearly, the first step in helping our clients be successful is to effectively reach potential entrepreneurs and communicate the benefits of our products and services, so Tim’s leadership in this area will play an integral role in our planned growth for 2006.”
McAndrew has more than 20 years of expertise in business leadership and cross-functional team building, with proven experience in business development, international expansion, customer relationship management and integrated marketing. Prior to his experience at Webroot, McAndrew held a number of positions for Time Life, Inc., including Group Director of TV Media and Production and Group Director of New Business for the European operation. In these positions he led the company’s successful expansion of its direct-response television business into Europe and improved overall direct marketing ROI by more than 30 percent.
McAndrew also served as Director of Business Development and Director of Optimization Services for MatchLogic, Inc., where he helped companies such as General Motors, Proctor & Gamble and AT&T develop and execute successful online marketing programs.
“I have been fortunate in my career to work with companies that successfully carved out leadership positions in their respective industries,” McAndrew said. “I see an outstanding opportunity with Dalbey Education not only to join an industry leader, but to head up a talented team that will continue to expand the success of our clients and our business model.”
McAndrew will be based at Dalbey Education’s headquarters in Westminster.
