Andrew Steiner, Director of Education
In his role as Director of Education for The Dalbey Education Institute Andrew Steiner directs all financial education programs for the company’s expansive line of professional mentoring services. When he joined the company in 2003 he brought with him more than 10 years of experience in education and entrepreneurship.
Steiner is an experienced financial expert who learned the private note business under his mentor Russ Dalbey. He now leads the Institute’s cash flow note buying division. In that capacity he has worked on hundreds of note deals, covering every major niche in the industry. In addition, he has consulted with thousands of the Dalbey Education Institute students to build successful businesses.
Before joining the Dalbey Education Institute, Steiner taught Information Technology as a college professor at a college in Pennsylvania where he established himself as a results-driven educator.
In addition, Steiner has worked extensively in guerilla marketing and sales, even braving the difficult world of door-to-door solicitation. As a result, he’s a sought after speaker in topics ranging from lead harvesting to negotiation to deal structuring.
After growing up in Miami, Steiner received a B.A. in Psychology from Muhlenberg College, and an A.A.S. in Computer Science from Lehigh Carbon College. He is currently pursuing his CPA license.
David Winter, Lead Educator
Dr. David Winter serves as Senior Coach and Motivational Team Leader for The Dalbey Education Institute, a role he has held since 2005. With more than 30 years of experience in business and education, Winter acts as the Institute’s head educator, providing personalized guidance to students at workshops and training sessions.
Prior to his work at The Dalbey Education Institute Winter founded the Denver branch of the Anthony Robbins Company where he provided hands on coaching and motivation for thousands of clients. In his 17-year career there he established himself as a sought after public speaker and a leading educator in the fields of professional motivation and business education.
Winter joined The Dalbey Education Institute in 2004 from Time-Life in Denver, Colorado where he served as the Sales Manager. In that role he interviewed, hired, trained, coached, and motivated a staff of up to 60 representatives.
Born in rural South Dakota, Winter moved to Wyoming to pursue a career in education. He received a Masters Degree and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Wyoming. In addition, he served as a both a high school principal and Director of Research and Development for a school district in Wyoming.
Kenneth Gallup, Protege Team Leader

Kenneth Gallup, Protege Team Leader, is responsible for developing a team of business mentors to build successful home businesses for The Dalbey Education Institute students. In his current role Gallup works both as a mentor and a liaison between students who are working on live deals and the investors who purchase them.
Gallup has widespread experience in management and sales and has personally worked on several successful note deals. In addition, he is credited with helping hundreds of cash flow business students launch private home businesses.
Gallup studied Geology and Anthropology at Western State University in Gunnison, Colorado.
Drew Nienaber, Assistant Coaching Manager
As a Assistant Coaching Manager, Drew Nienaber is responsible for developing a team of business mentors to build successful home businesses for The Dalbey Education Institute students. He’s a stand out analyst, and works daily on the purchase of cash flow notes.
Nienaber is an experienced cash flow note appraiser, helping the company and its students complete accurate, profitable note transactions.
Drew graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, he relocated to Colorado in 2005 to advance his career.
Tonya Dean, Assistant Coaching Manager

As a Protege Coach Tonya Dean is responsible for guiding The Dalbey Education Institute students through business set up, marketing and deal structuring. Dean brings more than five years of experience in marketing and communications experience to her current role.
Since joining the team in 2005 Dean has become well known for her wildly effective mentoring style, earning her key positions at exclusive Dalbey Education Institute training events.
A Colorado native who loves to travel, Tonya is instrumental in helping her students achieve success through smart business and effective marketing.
Matthew Stojak, Senior Protege Coach
Matthew Stojak is a stand out member of the Protege coaching staff where he is responsible for guiding The Dalbey Education Institute students through business set up, marketing and deal structuring. He brings extensive experience in the secondary cash flow market, banking and finance, and creative advertising practices.
Before joining the Institute Stojak worked in the leasing department at a major bank in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also worked in a more technical field, acting as an assistant to engineers working with testing and measurement equipment.
Stojak received his schooling at the University of Wisconsin, Stout and Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Wisconsin. He currently holds two degrees in Graphic Arts: Pre-press Design and Press Printing.
April DeMinco, Protege Coach

April has been a key member of our Protege coaching staff since 2005. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, April moved to Boulder, Colorado in order to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. While enrolled in her undergraduate business studies, April also worked at an animal hospital, gaining valuable management and customer service experience.
Eager to apply her academic learning to the real world, April now works directly with students at all levels of the cash flow industry – from outright neophytes to those who are looking to expand their finder operations to becoming full-time investors.
David Kukielka, Protege Coach

David relocated from Minneapolis, Minnesota five years ago to pursue his undergraduate college education at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He received his Bachelor’s degree in History and focused his intensive studies on European history in particular.
David will have been part of our teaching staff for two years in June of 2006. His career at The Dalbey Education Institute began with the Success Counselor department, but when an opportunity to work more directly in teaching students became available, he opted to join the Protege team. David has embraced his multi-level responsibilities, including coaching/mentoring clients (both direct and online), customer service, client satisfaction initiatives, and training new counselors.
As his expertise in the cash flow industry has grown, David has now taken on additional roles in comprehensive workshop presentation, in-house boot camp coaching assistance, and working with note investors and sellers directly.
As serious as David is about education and business, he fully believes that balance is just as important for a fulfilled life. He has a passion for almost all outdoor activities and sports, but hockey and golf top his list of favorite extracurricular activities.
Melati Stevens, Protege Coach

Melati joined our Protege teaching team in the fall of 2005. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Fine Arts, with a minor in Philosophy.
Melati’s experience has primarily been working in film and music production; for example, she was an Associate Producer for a Colorado sports film production company. However, her previous employment has invariably involved business management to some degree.
Melati comes from an eclectic and international background, having lived in and received her primary education in Indonesia, Australia, the Middle East, and the United States.
In addition, Melati speaks fluent French and Indonesian. The Dalbey Education Institute is proud to have her as part of our in-house coaching staff.
